Join us for the 14th Annual Gobbler’s Run presented by The Jim Allen Group. This is a family-friendly 5k that brings the community together on Thanksgiving Morning. This is a 5K for everyone! It is for runners and non-runners. It is for families and work teams. It is for dog walkers and stroller pushers. There is a place for everyone at the starting line! Join us and make it your family’s tradition!
100% of the proceeds go back to the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club. The Boys & Girls Club is a community-based nonprofit whose goal is to provide youth with exceptional opportunities. Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Want to be involved but don’t want to run? Gobbler’s Run is 100% volunteer-driven! We need many different types of volunteers. People to help us cut up fruit and bagels. Cheerleaders to stand at the start and finish line and cheer on the runners and walkers. Course Monitors to help keep everyone on track! We are always looking for more help!
